Play Dough Recipe
Thank you to those who have been able to make play dough for our class. We have been using the play dough to create letters and words during literacy centers. Students also enjoy playing with the play dough creatively during purposeful play. 1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup water
1 Tbsp oil
1 pkg Kool-Aid or 1 tsp food colouring
( I prefer to use Kool-Aid)
Combine flour, salt, cream of tartar and Kool-Aid in a pot. Mix liquids together and stir into dry mixture. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until a ball forms. Remove from heat and knead until smooth. Store in a large Ziploc or air-tight container.
